Learn to Knit: Beginners Class with Sue

Have you ever admired a friend’s handmade hat or scarf and thought, "I wish I could do that"?  Maybe you’ve inherited some knitting needles and want to put them to use. Perhaps you’re simply looking for a calm, creative activity to replace endless scrolling on your phone, if so, this class is for you!

In this beginner-friendly course, you will learn the knitting essentials: how to cast on, knit, and purl. Then, you will put your new skills into practice by making your choice of a hat, scarf, or cowl. 

So join in on the fun, pick up a relaxing new hobby, and make some new friends along the way. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Class is limited to 10
Beginning Tuesday November 4, 11, 18, December 2, 9, 16
Please note, there will not be a class on November 25
Class Time 6pm-8pm

Materials available for purchase at the first class (please arrive a few minutes early).
